Clothes & Linens on Railings

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Swimming season creates many wet clothes & towels, and we know how problematic this can be, however you cannot air-dry clothes or household linens on the patio gates, ledges, balcony railings or anywhere on the exterior of the unit.

ISSUE:
We have been noticing an increase of clothing/ linens on railings and this is a violation of the Rules & Regs; paragraph 6, pg 2.

                6. No clothes drying outside dwellings.
No clothes, towels or other items may be hung anywhere outside, i.e., on patios, patio railings, walkway balconies, balcony railings.Clothes or other items must be dried inside the dwellings. Items being dried outside in violation of this rule may be removed and disposed of without prior notice by Association Management or their representative.

TIPS:
An alternative to this rule would be to utilize the local laundromat for drying needs or hang clothing/ linens on the shower rod in the bathroom.

To prevent future fines we advise you to review the Rules & Regs.

If you need a copy of the Rules & Regs for future references, please contact the office for assistance.

Thank you for respecting our community policies.

BUILDING K: WATER OFF DUE TO AN EMERGENCY

Building K Residents,

There is a water-line break in the main. We have a plumber on site and the water to the building has been shut down for repairs. We apologies for the headache because I am sure many want to come home from a long day and relax, thus we are working diligently to get the water back on ASAP.

Thank you for your understanding,

SMALL POOL

Residents,

City of Arlington came out today and shut the small pool down due to an equipment upgrade that is needed. Part has been ordered, once installed, the City Inspector will reinspect so we can re-open the pool. We are trying to have the pool open by Friday.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

KUDOS on SECURITY!!

KUDOS TO ALL!!!

Thank you to those who got involved over the weekend by contacting Seawinns Security regarding chaos at the pool(s). After reviewing Seawinns reports, there had been numerous calls to them to do card checks and to clear out the pool(s) due to exceeding guests limits. This involvement helps prevent property damage and helps keep the amenities restricted to AOC residents only!

So again, thank you and kudos to all!

MAIN POOL CLOSED TONIGHT

Main pool will be closed this evening due to it being treated with toxic chemicals. Tomorrow we should know if one chemical treatment will be sufficient. We will post an update tomorrow morning.

MESSAGE FROM APD! SGT. STINSON

Good evening,

I want to touch base with everyone to discuss recent vehicle burglaries (BMVs) in the area. We have experienced exceptionally high numbers of BMVs in your area in June this year. Most of which involve unlocked vehicles.

Many of you may have noticed officers issuing BMV report cards on parked vehicles. We would like to remind our residents to take extra steps to help prevent them from becoming a victim of burglary. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a time to help us issue BMV report cards in your complex. We are trying to focus on areas where burglaries had occurred earlier in the week.

I would appreciate any assistance you may be able to offer to pass along the reminder to your residents to double check their car doors to ensure they are locked.
I’ve attached a couple of flyers to that effect.

As always, I encourage you to keep me informed of any issues that may be occurring in your complex.

Thank you,

Sergeant Chris Stinson #2126
